Quite a bit more, it seems.<\/p>\n<p>As Newberry points out, people are more likely to trust messages from regular employees than they do messages from the company\u2019s CEO. Messages from the company\u2019s tech experts garner even more trust\u201465%, according to Newberry.<\/p>\n<p>And as an\u00a0<em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.entrepreneur.com\/article\/280371\">Entrepreneur article<\/a><\/em>\u00a0points out, when employees share brand messages, those messages\u2019 reach increases by 561%. Others share employee messages 24 times more often than messages that come through the marketing department\u2019s social media posts.<\/p>\n<p>Potential customers engage with employee-shared content eight times more than with content that the brand\u2019s official marketing arm shares.<\/p>\n<p>When you translate that into profits, it could make Scrooge turn cartwheels.<\/p>\n<p>Should you send your marketing team packing? Absolutely not. That\u2019s Scrooge talking.<\/p>\n<h2>Empower and Encourage Employees to Share Branded Messages This Holiday Season<\/h2>\n<p>Your marketing team is your vital link to empowering your employees to share messages with their friends and colleagues. They are, of course, experts in communication.<\/p>\n<p>Turn that marketing expertise loose on\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/marketinginsidergroup.com\/content-marketing\/how-employee-engagement-drives-marketing-roi\/\">campaigns that build enthusiasm<\/a>\u00a0among your employees.
